Trash Classification using Deep Learning

In my final semester at NUS, I took CS5242: Neural Networks & Deep Learning, which was (almost completely) based on CS231n taught by Dr Feifei Li at Stanford.

For the module’s final project, we had the freedom to pick any project of our choice. So, building on this prior github project, my team and I wrote code to classify images of trash using deep learning, with the idea that this could actually be used in the SmartNation initiative in Singapore. Our presentation and report are hyperlinked.
